I had no idea Tux Paint existed! But, I think it is so cool! Similar to what you did in your video, I would definitely use it for my students to interact with maps, as we focus on the states as well as map skills. I think I would also like them to use it to illustrate retells as well as their own writings. I think the use of those visuals that they help create will really help to create connections for them. It is amazing the tools that are available and what can be done with them. I also like the yourhomework tool. I wish I could get my mainstream teachers to use something like that consistently to help my high school students.
